Winter Skin Survival Guide

(Please read our disclaimer)

As fall settles in and winter nears, dry, chapped skin becomes more common—especially with the combination of cold air, indoor heat, and frequent handwashing. People with year-round dry skin may experience worsening symptoms, sometimes even eczema.

The Melaleuca Wellness Guide recommends applying Renew Skin Therapy and Triple Antibiotic Ointment or MelaGel to cracked or irritated areas. Apply Renew after washing hands and every four hours during flare-ups. For best results, layer lighter lotions first, followed by heavier moisturizers.

Don’t forget sun protection during winter. Sun Shades Mineral Plus Sunscreen SPF 30 offers soothing, broad-spectrum coverage—ideal for year-round use.

Lips chap quickly in colder months. Use Sun Shades Lip Balm, Sei Bella Lip Gloss, or Sei Bella Lip Treatment (with mango, shea butter, and vitamin E). Avoid licking lips, as saliva can worsen dryness.

To avoid over-drying, use moisturizing cleansers like Sun Valley Body Wash, which includes vitamin E, aloe, and shea butter.

Healthy skin also starts from within. Vitality Coldwater Omega-3 helps strengthen skin with DHA and EPA. Antioxidants in NutraView (lutein and zeaxanthin) and CellWise support both eye and skin health.

Lastly, take care of your feet. Apply Renew or Body Satin Foot Lotion before putting on socks for extra hydration.

From head to toe, these tips will help keep your skin healthy and protected all winter long.
