Preparing for Cold and Flu Season

(Please read our disclaimer)

As the weather cools, we spend more time indoors—where cold and flu viruses can spread more easily. Kids at school, family gatherings, and shared surfaces all increase our exposure. It’s a testament to our immune system that we don’t get sick more often. That’s why it’s wise to prepare your cold-fighting remedies before someone in the house gets sick.

Stay Hydrated

When we’re under the weather, we lose fluids through coughing, sneezing, fever, or an upset stomach. Warm drinks help soothe a sore throat and restore hydration. Activate-C Immune Complex is a comforting immune-boosting drink mix, with 1,200 mg Vitamin C, zinc, and black chokeberry, and can be enjoyed warm or cold. (Always heat cold water—don’t use hot water from the tap.)

For more severe dehydration caused by vomiting or diarrhea, Sustain Sport helps replace lost electrolytes safely—plain water alone isn’t enough in those cases.

Boost Your Immune Defenses

At the first sign of a cold, reach for Activate Immune Complex. This herbal and nutrient blend combines echinacea, astragalus, and aronia (black chokeberry) with Vitamin C, zinc (powered by Oligo), and Vitamin E. Research supports its ability to reduce the length and severity of colds. The Melaleuca Wellness Guide recommends one capsule, three times daily, for up to three weeks.
