Melaleuca, Inc is definitely a company focused on "terrain." Terrain refers to your internal environment or internal health. In this newsletter, when we talk about "terrain" we are referring to your body's ability to fight off disease, specifically viruses. Our task right now is to make our internal environment a "hostile terrain" for germs like the Coronavirus. In this newsletter we will cover two simple strategies that will work together to help ward off this virus, or help you to recover should you be infected.
I've discussed these strategies before, but I want to delve a little deeper to provide more information on individual components of the strategies to help convince you that they are practical and efficacious.

This article in the New York Post shows how vitamin C, administered intravenously, is being used to treat Coronavirus patients. Dr. Andrew G. Weber states in the article, “The patients who received vitamin C did significantly better than those who did not get vitamin C. It helps a tremendous amount, but it is not highlighted because it’s not a sexy drug.” Note: It's not necessary to administer vitamin C intravenously to get the preventative and healing benefits. This is typically done only in severe cases in a hospital setting.

Vitamin D – Perfect Helpmate to Vitamin C
A quote from an article by Dr. Mark Sircus: "Vitamin D reduces the risk of dying from a viral infection. Researchers from Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York found that giving supplements of vitamin D to a group of volunteers reduced episodes of infection with colds and flu by 70% over three years. The researchers said that vitamin D stimulates “innate immunity” to viruses and bacteria. Very few have any idea that Vitamin D can be taken in high dosages like Vitamin C can."
Here's a quote from an excellent article by Dr. Sircus about magnesium: "Few people are aware of the enormous role magnesium plays in our bodies. Magnesium is by far the most important mineral in the body. After oxygen, water, and basic food, magnesium may be the most important element needed by our bodies, vitally important yet hardly known. It is more important than calcium, potassium or sodium, and regulates all three of them. Millions suffer daily from magnesium deficiency without even knowing it."
